Note: This version requires either Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 (installed by default on Windows 8.x and 10), or .NET Framework 4.0 with update KB2468871 (probably already installed if you use Windows Update).
Improved the user interface. The layout and button icons have been updated. Buttons, tabs, and icons are larger to provide a better user experience on touch-screen and high resolution displays.
Added 10 new color-based appearance themes. These themes can be selected via a new step that has been added to the Configuration Wizard, or in the Appearance Options. The updated default appearance theme is light gray, but the new themes provide other colors such as blue, green, purple, etc.
Added the ability to archive and remove old events, tasks, and notes. Using this command can help improve VueMinder's performance.
Added the ability to merge one or more calendars into another calendar.
Added the ability to find and delete all duplicate events, tasks, or notes within a selected calendar.
Added the ability to convert between events, tasks, and notes. An item can be converted by using the "Assign to Calendar" command. If the selected calendar is a different type (event, task, or note), the item will be converted.
Added a "Show Only this Calendar" menu command for showing only the items in the selected calendar. Items in other calendars will be filtered.
Improved application performance.
Improved the Desktop Calendar to recall its position based on any number of screen configurations and resolutions.
Improved the List views to open the selected item when the Enter key is pressed.
Corrected cases where data could become corrupted or lost.
Corrected printing of multi-day event start and end dates when using the "Whole month without overflow" monthly layout style.
Corrected various problems with shared calendars not syncing properly, especially in the case where changes are made on the local computer while a shared calendar is currently syncing.
Corrected cases where duplicate events could appear when syncing the same calendar with both MySQL Server and Google Calendar.
Corrected the "Click to add event" button to not generate blank events on other computers when the inline creation of a shared event is cancelled.
Corrected syncing of events when dragged on the Timeline View. The shared events wouldn't properly refresh on other computers.
Corrected the coloring of shared notes when a note's category is changed on a different computer.
Corrected the deletion of a shared contact to also delete the contact from other computers.
Corrected the desktop calendar to show a tooltip when the mouse is hovered over an event, task, or note.
Corrected uploading of generated calendar web pages via FTP. The upload would fail on some FTP servers.
Translated into Hungarian and updated the Norwegian translation.
Other corrections and improvements.
